Ongoing

Nashville – Experience the sites of Jaume Plensa’s art in the gardens and museum while enjoying the sounds, tastes and culture of Spain during Spanish Nights 6-9 p.m. at Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art.

Jonesborough – A weekly tour will take place featuring 1800s burial customs, history of Rocky Hill and College Hill and more 2 p.m.

through Oct. 31 at the Old Jonesborough Cemetery.

July 24

Columbia – Bluegrass on the Square wraps up for the summer with a performance by Bluegrass Junction 8 p.m. at Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant in downtown Columbia.

July 24-Aug. 28

Crossville – See A Chorus Line, one of the longest-running Broadway musicals ever, at the Cumberland County Playhouse.

Collierville – Children will love watching the Disney classic Sleeping Beauty beginning at dusk at Carriage Crossing.

July 25

New Johnsonville – Take in nature with free canoeing and kayaking 9 a.m. to noon at the Duck River Bottoms area.

Humboldt – A Night of Live Blues with some of the region’s finest musicians 7 p.m. at Twin Oaks Estate.

Greeneville – Hot Summer Nights SX Series features motocross and the Big Swag Giveaway at I-81 Motorsports Park.

Kingsport – Everyone rides free for National Carousel Day 1-8 p.m. on the Kingsport Carousel located at 350 Clinchfield Street.

Bristol – Enjoy music by Robinella in concert with Mike Seal and Clint Mullican 7 p.m. at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum.

Knoxville – The annual Summer Soul Jam 2015 will feature artists like the Zapp Band, Whodini, and Sunshine Anderson 6 p.m. in the Old City Courtyard. Tickets are $25.

Lobelville – Enjoy music by Station Joe with Little Johnny Kantreed 7:30 p.m. on the Lobelville City Hall Grounds.

Dyersburg – Sample great barbecue at the BBQ-Fest Cooking Contest which will also feature hot air balloon rides, a petting zoo, inflatables, live music and more at The Dyer County Fairgrounds.

July 25-26

Monteagle – 56th Annual Mountain Market for Arts & Crafts, one of the oldest recurring festivals of the South Cumberland Plateau, will take place at the Hannah Picket Park.

July 26

Bristol – Bring the whole family for musical activities, stories, songs and more for Family Fun Day 2 p.m. at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum.

Franklin – Take in classic 70’s pop rock tunes by Vinyl Radio as part of the Sunset Concert Series 6-8 p.m. at Carnton Plantation.

June 26-28

Millington – Drivers will have the chance to get their share of more than a $100,000 total purse with five races at Memphis International Raceway.  

July 27

Jonesborough – A Night with Yarn Exchange: I Am Home returns 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the International Storytelling Center. 

Maryville – The Taming of the Shrew, one of William Shakespeare’s comedy plays, will be performed by the Tennessee Stage Company 6:30 p.m. in the Reading Rotunda at Blount County Public Library.

Ripley – Big Hero 6 will play to audiences 7:30 p.m. at the Ripley Downtown Amphitheater. The showing is free and open to the public.

July 27-31

Memphis – Kids can explore motion, science and technology by creating gravity-pulled cars made from recycled materials during Motion Commotion Robotics Camp 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.at The Children’s Museum of Memphis.

July 30

Nashville – Come out for Family Night Out with a special performance by Cowboy Dan 6:30 p.m. at Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art.

Memphis – Enjoy the retelling of Peter Pan starring the late Robin Williams Hook 7 p.m. at The Orpheum Theatre.

July 31

Crossville – Hear music from Jesse Cole James 7 p.m. at the Palace Theatre.

Jackson – Audiences can enjoy the music styling of Travis Cottrell as part of the AMP Free Concert Series 7 p.m. at The Amp.

Memphis – Sample fine wines, hors d’oeuvres and try your luck at the wine pull during The Science of Wine 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the Pink Palace Museum.

Memphis – Have an adventure in another galaxy while watching Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan 7 p.m. at The Orpheum Theatre.

Nashville – Listen to music by the Nashville-based musicians The Long Players as they perform David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust 6-9 p.m. in the Turner Courtyard at Frist Center for the Visual Arts.

July 31-Aug. 1

Jackson – The Summer Swell Pop-Up Shop will feature local artisans and craftsmen with art, pottery, jewelry and more 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Alba Café.

July 31-Aug. 2

Woodbury – The Short Mountain Distillery Disc Jam Music Festival will feature disc golf, food, live music, vendors and camping at Short Mountain Distillery.

Humboldt – Back to the 80s musical will be performed at the Nite Lite Theater.

Knoxville – Have a laugh during Sealed for Freshness at Theatre Knoxville Downtown, celebrating its 40th season this year.

Aug. 1

Rugby – Edu-Tellers Betty and Mike Rowe will tell stories for audiences 7 p.m. ET in the Rebecca Brown Theater. Tickets are $10.

Nashville – Take in a songwriter round with The Peach Pickers: Rhett Akins, Dallas Davidson, and Ben Hayslip 2 p.m. at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
