Carrie Mae Timmons Singleton, 65, of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, July 23, 2015 in a local hospital. 

She was a member of Stephens Temple C.P. Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Annie Mae Timmons; father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Bertha Singleton; sisters, Louise Timmons and Beatrice Timmons. 

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Haywood L. Singleton; son, Brian Singleton; daughter, Nakia Singleton, both of Chattanooga; stepsons, Vincent Nelson of Watertown, NY and Alan Raywell of Dalton; stepdaughter, Leshiena Smith of Atlanta, GA; granddaughter, Zoey Crawford; six step-grandchildren; brothers, Ben Timmons of Atlanta, Charles Timmons, and Anthony Timmons; sisters, Mamie Green, Pauline (Wilford) Ford, Leona (Don) Adams, Pat Timmons, all of Chattanooga, and Wanda Ann (Charles) Banks of Atlanta; special niece, Carla Jordan; special brother-in-law, L.J. Singleton; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. 

Visitation is on Tuesday, July 28, from 6-7 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside services will be on Wednesday, July 29, at 2:30 p.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Earnest Jefferson as the eulogist.
