Body Found Early Tuesday Morning; Foul Play Not Suspected At This Time

Chattanooga Police responded to the 300 block of Cherokee Boulevard on the report of a body found on Tuesday at approximately 12:26 a.m.

Investigators have processed the scene and the body was transported to the Hamilton County Medical Examiner’s Office for evaluation and identification.

The cause of death is pending the results of the autopsy by the Medical Examiner’s Office. Foul play is not suspected at this time.  Release of name is pending identification and notification of next of kin.

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525.

 The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
