The Chattanooga Lookouts (55-42/12-17) scored seven runs in the fourth inning en route to an 8-3 victory over the Pensacola Blue Wahoos(42-57/17-14).

Brett Lee (W, 1-4) made the start and gave up three runs in the second inning. That was it. The southpaw worked five innings. He gave up three runs (2 earned) on three hits. He walked three and struck out one in picking up his first win with the Lookouts.

Shannon Wilkerson went 3-for-4 with a walk and two doubles. Stuart Turner had his second-straight three hit game going 3-for-4 with a walk and getting his ninth double. Levi Michael went 2-for-4 with his fourth triple and Kennys Vargas went 2-for-5 and drove in two runs.

Down three runs in the fourth the Lookouts offense roared to life. Kenny Vargas led off the inning with a single to shallow right field. Catcher Turner followed that up with a RBI double. With two outs the scoring continued when Michael tripled home Turner. The next batter center fielder Wilkerson plated Michael on a single and proceeded to score on a Max Kepler single. The final runs of the inning came home on a Vargas bases clearing hit to make it 7-3 Lookouts.

An inning later the team tacked on one more run on a Shannon Wilkerson RBI double to give starting pitcher Lee a five-run cushion.

The Wahoos attempted to cut into the lead in the top of the fifth as they loaded the bases without a hit, but they came up empty as Lee was able to hold strong.

Jake Reed came on in the sixth. He threw two scoreless innings, allowing one hit, walking one and striking out one.

DJ Johnson gave up two hits but no runs in the eighth inning. JT Chargois struck out one in a scoreless ninth.

The Wahoos have now dropped four straight after reaching the top of the division last week.
