The Chattanooga Sings For Hope memorial concert and tribute to first responders will be held on Saturday, Aug. 8, from 4-7 p.m.
This memorial concert is designed to pay tribute to the military personnel who lost their lives on July 16 and honor first responders at every level. Multiple agencies from Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama will participate in a motorcade from downtown to the ICCM Miracle Theater and exhibit military and law enforcement equipment before the concert.
Congressman Chuck Fleishmann as our honored guest and speaker at the tribute event.
This effort will not only honor those slain and those who dedicate their lives to serving their communities, but it will help other organizations continue to raise money for the immediate and long term needs of the families of the five servicemen killed. These organizations include the Foundation of Greater Chattanooga and the National Center for Victims of Crime through their National Compassion Fund.
The assembly for the motorcade will begin at Finley Stadium at 3 p.m. The motorcade will leave downtown at 3:45 p.m. The emergency response vehicle exhibit at the ICCM Miracle Theater parking lot will be available from 4-5 p.m. The benefit concert and tribute will be from 5-7 p.m.
The ICCM Miracle Theater is at 6425 Lee Highway.
