Sister Judy Raley
CHI Memorial announces officers and members of the board of directors.
Sister Judith (Judy) Raley, Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, has been named chair of the board of directors. Sr. Raley moved to Chattanooga in 1995 to provide spiritual care for patients, families and staff at CHI Memorial. As CHI Memorial’s senior vice president of Mission from 1996-2007, she led efforts to foster consistent and ongoing organizational articulation, appreciation and internalization of CHI Memorial's mission and values by integrating them into the organization’s planning, over-all decision-making, operations and evaluation.
In 2007, Sr. Raley returned to Nazareth, Ky. where she served as the Sisters of Charity Nazareth provincial of the Western Province until her retirement in 2013. She joined the CHI Memorial’s board of directors in July 2009 and most recently served as secretary of the board.
James H. Pesnell, will serve as vice chair and chair of the finance committee. Corinne A. Allen will serve as secretary. Charles L. Arant will continue his service as immediate past chair and chair of the nominating and governance committee.
