William “Bill” Hinton, 64, of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, June 30, 2015. 

Bill was born in Owensboro, Ky., and was a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area. He served our country in the United States Army during Vietnam. Bill was a food service manager for Dunkin Donuts and was a school teacher at Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School before retiring. 

Bill enjoyed his time with his significant other, Virginia “Jenny” Ellen Manis, who died on Dec. 16, 2014. 

The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

Graveside services for Bill will follow at 2 p.m. on Thursday at National Cemetery with the Vietnam Veterans Group 203 participating. 

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
