City Employee Information Guide Due Out Sept. 8

  • Tuesday, August 11, 2015

A new city employee information guide is due to be issued Sept. 8, city officials said.

Brent Goldberg, city chief operating office, said the administration is cooperating with employee leaders and the SEIU union on the project.

An employee of the Youth and Family Development Department said the employee leaders and the union are "not that far apart" on 11 issues that are still unresolved.

She said there will be continued discussions, and a report will be given to the City Council on any agreement that is approved by the administration in six months.

There were no other speakers at a hearing called by City Councilman Moses Freeman.
