Paula Eggert Powell
Signature Brokers announced the addition of Paula Eggert Powell to the Winslett team at the Ooltewah-based real estate firm.
Ms. Powell is a veteran teacher with 26 years of experience who has taught for 16 years at Loftis Middle School in Hixson. She has a bachelor’s degree in education, as well as a master’s degree as a reading specialist from UTC.
This summer, Ms. Powell is excited to make the transition from educating students in the classroom to equipping home buyers and sellers, and says aspects of her new real estate venture are familiar territory. “I’ll always consider myself a teacher, and now I’m educating my clients in real estate and how to make a smart investment in their future,” she said.
Team leader Belinda Winslett knows exactly what Ms. Powell will bring to the table. “Teachers make some of the very best Realtors," said Ms. Winslett. "Their attention to detail, organizational skills, and genuine care for others makes them invaluable in the real estate market. I've known Paula for a long time, and we’re so honored to have her join us.”
Ms. Powell and her family reside in Hixson on the lake, where she plans to build her business by serving the luxury lake home market. When she is not helping clients, one can often find her on the water with family and friends.
