Cassandra Baptist Church will be hosting an old time revival meeting Sunday, Aug. 30 to Wednesday, Sept. 2.
The revival kicks off on Sunday morning at 11 a.m. and is followed by a covered casserole dinner at the church. Evening services will be at 6 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.
Evangelist Dr. Bill Edmonds will be the preacher. Dr. Edmonds' ministry spans 59 years in radio, television, prison ministry as well as serving as church pastor and leading crusades.
Cassandra Baptist is at 1371 on West Cove Road in Walker County, just south of the Highway 193 intersection.
