Tina Braden, 51, was arrested on Friday with another woman, Julie Bingham, 27, after they allegedly vandalized her ex-husband’s home, causing several hundred dollars in damage.

When police responded to the home on Mulberry Street in Ooltewah, the victim said that Ms. Braden had come over with another woman, demanding her mail. He said that when she got there, he went inside and locked the door.

He said that she came to the back door and tried to beat it down but was unable to. She then flipped a small four-wheeler and threw a glass jar causing it to shatter before beating on a car and truck in the back yard.

He also said the other woman she was with hit his above ground pool, damaging it.

The victim’s grandson, who was on the scene, also showed the officer a video he had taken that police said confirmed the victim’s story.

While talking to the victim, the officer was advised that a car matching the suspects’ descriptions had been stopped by Collegedale officers, so the officer took the two women into custody.

The officer then went to pick up both women and stated in a report that Ms. Braden was unruly and uncooperative. He said that Ms. Braden cursed and screamed the entire way to the jail.

The victim was also able to show the officers a report that had previously advised Ms. Braden to stop all contact with the victim and stay away from the property.
