Corey Coker
Corey Brian Coker, 37, died on Sunday, August 16, 2015.
He was born March 28, 1978 in Chattanooga, to Albert and Dora Coker.
After graduating from Chattanooga High School in 1996, he joined the U.S. Navy as AE for F14 systems.
He was employed at Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, Ga.
He is survived by his wife, Tenisha Coker; sons, Kaylon and Corey Coker II, of Rincon, Ga.; daughter, Jaila Coker of Chattanooga; parents, Albert and Dora Coker of Chattanooga; brother, Albert Coker II of Chattanooga; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie D. Davis of Brownsville, Tn.; two aunts, three uncles; a host of cousins, three sisters-in-law and five brothers-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, Aug. 21, at New Monumental Baptist Church. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon on Thursday, the family will receive friends from 5–6 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
