The Chattanooga Lookouts (56-44) dropped the final game of their series to the Blue Wahoos, 8-1, but drew a crowd of 6,381 for the team's second consecutive sellout. Tonight's crowd was the team's largest since 7/27/2013 when they drew 6,393 fans.
The Lookouts had just one hit through seven innings and by then, they were already down big.
David Hurlbut had an off-day for the Lookouts after several good outings. The lefty gave up five runs (four earned) on 11 hits in 4 2/3 innings. He walked one and struck out three.
Alex Wimmers came on and went the next 1 1/3 innings. He gave up three runs on three hits. He walked two and struck out two. Adrian Salcedo returned from his 80-game suspension. He walked one in a scoreless inning.
In front of a packed house the Lookouts offense could not get anything going, only mustering three hits the entire night. In his first night back since June 9, Jorge Polanco recorded a hit and knocked in the team's only run of the game when he drove in Stephen Wickens in the eighth inning.
The one run was not enough to catch the Blue Wahoos who scored two runs in the third, three in the fifth and three in the sixth.
Overall the Blue Wahoos smacked eight doubles and racked up 15 hits. The eight doubles were the most by a Lookouts' opponent this season surpassing the previous mark of seven which was set by Biloxi on May 31.
Newly activated pitcher Barrett Astin (W, 3-2) pitched well in his first game back from a stint on the Disabled List, only allowing one run in 7 2/3 innings of work.

Notes: 2015 Lookouts Pitcher Tyler Duffey to Majors
The Minnesota Twins have place pitcherTommy Milone on the 15-day disabled list with a mild left elbow strain (retro 8/1). To replace Milone on the 25-man roster, the Twins will select the contract of right-handed pitcher Tyler Duffey from Triple-A Rochester prior to Monday’s game in Toronto.
Tyler Duffey
Duffey, who will make his major league debut with the start on Wednesday, made 21 starts between Double-A Chattanooga and Triple-A Rochester this season. The Houston-native has posted a 6-8 record with a 2.66 ERA (132.0 IP, 39 ER), 30 walks and 117 strikeouts while holding opponents to a .235 batting average between the two levels.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound right-hander was originally selected by the Twins in the fifth round of the 2012 First-Year Player Draft out of Rice University.
Starting pitcher David Hurlbut struggled before giving way to Alex Wimmers.
