Charles “Len” Hawkins, 53, of Signal Mountain, died on Saturday, August 1, 2015.

Len was employed with Chattanooga Group for 28 years, and was a volunteer for the Walden Ridge Emergency Service for 35 years.

He was an avid outdoorsman especially hunting and fishing. He also, had hobbies dealing with antiques and collectables.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Hawkins, grandparents, Len and Willie May Hawkins and William Levi.

Survivors include his grandmother, Dorothy Levi, parents, Joyce and John Tucker, sister; Shauna O’Haver, Lynn Cole, Greta Locklear; brother, Steven Hawkins and two nieces.

Special friends, Ragan Muller, Wendy Stephenson, Patricia Wagner, Ellen Clippenger, Janese Freye, and Donna Wright.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 3, at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Granger, Pastor Bill Thornton, and Pastor Rocky Bradford officiating.

Visitation will be on Sunday, Aug. 2, from 3-8 p.m., and Monday, from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Walden Ridge Emergency Service, P.O. Box 215, Signal Mountain, Tn. 37377.
