Charleyne L. Moore, 95, of Chattanooga, died peacefully on Friday, July 31, 2015.

Mrs. Moore was born and raised in Chattanooga. She was a devoted Christian and member of Stuart Heights Baptist Church. Charleyne was a graduate of City High School and was an art historian specializing in glassware.

Surviving are her son, Mike McAfee and his wife, Mary Jo; grandchildren, Chance McAfee and Niccole (Joseph) Kohlmann; great-grandson, Jordan McAfee; and sister, Roma (Claude) Reed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus G. Moore; and parents, Charles and Thelma Guedron.

Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Reverend Horace Turner officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to McKamey Animal Center, 4500 North Access Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37415.

Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.
