Robbie Fulks Makes Chattanooga Debut At Barking Legs Aug. 29

  • Thursday, August 20, 2015

Alt country legend Robbie Fulks and band will make his first Chattanooga area performance in a long career on Saturday, Aug. 29, 8 p.m. at Barking Legs Theatre.

Review for Robbie Fulks:

One of the great unclassifiable artists, the Chicago-based Fulks has been defying expectations for decades. What other musician has a bluegrass album produced by Steve Albini and counts Tina Fey as a major fan? Described as a “sharper-than-a-tack, wry genius staple of the alternative country scene,” he's one heck of a guitar picker as well, and he surrounds himself with great players.

For this tour, he has Barking Legs favorites Shad Cobb on fiddle and Missy Raines on bass. The icing on the cake is mandolinist Don Stiernberg.

Tickets are $15 in advance at http://barkinglegs.org/event/details/robbie-fulks/ or at the door.
