Teenage Boy Shot 4 Times Sunday Evening

A 14-year-old boy suffered four gunshot wounds Sunday at about 5 p.m. Chattanooga Police responded to the 3100 block of 7th Avenue where they found the victim.

Police said the boy was shot once in the left breast, once in the left thigh and twice in the left arm. The victim was alert and walking around when police arrived. 

The boy was transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS for the non-life threatening wounds.  

No valid suspect information is available at this time. 

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this crime to call 698-2525.  The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
