In preparation for the upcoming year the Judge David Campbell Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution met at the Chattanooga Golf and Country Club. Those in attendances were Stacy Kehoe, second vice regent; Susan Lindsey, chapter regent; Jan Perry, first vice regent and Tennessee DAR News – News Online vice chairman; Linda Triplett, chaplain; Michelle Scotchie, Li; Bette Cook, membership chairman and state regent’s special project – sales vice chairman; Meegan Burton, corresponding secretary, state junior membership chairman and state conference technical support; Susan Thomas, Tennessee State Daughters of the American Revolution regent; Bettie Purcell, registrar; Sally Michaud, treasurer; Susan Gruber, recording secretary; Kathy Hixson, parliamentarian; Mary Keith Bowen, state regent’s sale project, chairman; and Phyllis Carter, DAR good citizen chairman and state regent’s project – book, vice chairman, Cherokee District.
In May the Judge David Campbell Chapter celebrated 100 years of service within the Chattanooga area. The Chapter will commemorate the 125th Anniversary of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution on Oct. 11 with a collection drive to support Op Santa, a local charity that provides Christmas gifts to families in special need.
