Review for upcoming performances:

On Friday, Oct. 9, Grammy Award-winning artist Warren Haynes brings his Ashes and Dust Tour featuring Jeff Sipe, Justin Townes Earle and Chessboxer to the Tivoli Theatre. Haynes has been recognized as a cornerstone of the American music landscape and revered as one of the finest guitar players in the world. Throughout his prolific career as part of three of the greatest live groups in rock history – Allman Brothers Band, Gov’t Mule and the Grateful Dead – his virtuosic artistry has led to thousands of unforgettable performances and dozens of memorable albums.

Veteran indie-songsmith Ben Folds, who will take over the Tivoli on Friday, Nov. 6, claims that his most recent collaboration with celebrated New York City-based chamber ensemble, yMusic is “one of the best records” he’s ever made. This is quite a statement considering his wide-ranging, genre-defying canon, but the multi-platinum-selling singer/songwriter/producer is simply that enthused about So There, his debut collaboration with yMusic. The album flourishes in the overlap between the pop and classical worlds, showcasing new pop songs written, arranged, and recorded by Folds and yMusic.

Singer-songwriter Jason Isbell takes a countrified turn with his new project and speeds to No. 1 on Top Country Albums with Something More Than Free. Isbell and special guest Cory Branan play the Tivoli on Sunday, Nov. 8. The country sensation spent six years as a member of the Drive-By Truckers before starting his solo career in 2007 to start his solo career, and he’s been pleasantly surprised by the album's impact on the country chart. Tickets go on sale Friday.

On Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, the Tivoli Theatre presents Rain: a Tribute to the Beatles, a live multimedia spectacular that takes you on a musical journey through the life and times of the world’s most celebrated band. Featuring new songs and high definition imagery, this expanded RAIN adds even more hits that you know and love from the vast anthology of Beatles classics, including “I Want To Hold Your Hand,” “Hard Day’s Night,” “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” “Let It Be,” “Come Together” and “Hey Jude.”
