Dalton State Volleyball To Open Season In Kentucky

The Dalton State volleyball team opens the 2015 campaign this week as a part of the Lindsey Wilson College Volleyball Classic in Columbia, KY.

The event will be spread out over three day and three venues with the Roadrunner action being played at Lindsey Wilson’s Health and Wellness Center. Dalton State will play two games each day on Friday and Saturday.

The Roadrunners will battle the University of the Cumberlands (KY) Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. CT. That contest will be followed immediately with a match against Cumberland (TN).

Saturday action will have Dalton State meeting Indiana Kokomo at 2 p.m. CT and Indiana Southeast at 4 p.m. CT. More than a dozen teams are scheduled to participate in the tournament including Bethel (TN) and Brenau (GA) from the SSAC.

The home openers on Saturday, September 5th as part of a Tri-Match at Bandy Gymnasium on the DS campus. The Roadrunners will host Reinhardt University at 10 a.m. Reinhardt and Milligen College meet a noon. The Roadrunners will wrap up the day with a 2 pm match with Milligan College (TN)

The Roadrunners come off of a couple of successful scrimmages this past Saturday in Cleveland, GA.
