CCS Scores Early and Often In 50-0 Win Over Lookout Valley

The Chattanooga Christian School football team scored 36 of their 50 points in the first quarter Friday night in a 50-0 win over visiting Lookout Valley. 

The Chargers scored the first two times they touched the ball with Brandon Mason taking it in on Lookout Valley's first punt and Matthew Mercer scoring on a keeper on the first offensive possession. 

TJ Smith had three rushing touchdowns. 

CCS's defense had eight points including a safety by Jared Henderson and a fumble recovery in the end zone by Roddrick Goodman. 

CCS amassed 319 total yards of offense, 274 of those on the ground. 

Matthew Mercer had just one completion on one attempt for 45 yards. 

Cade Oglesby led all rushers with 84 yards on 3 carries.
 Mondo Ellison had one rush for 59 yards and a touchdown.

T.J. Smith had six rushes, three touchdowns and 57 total yards on the ground. 

Lookout Valley's Kahliel Peoples had 62 yards on 18 carries.  

Lookout Valley falls to 0-2 on the season and CCS improves to 2-0.
