Barbara Carol Richardson Dean, 66, of LaFayette, Georgia, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015.
She was of the Church of God faith.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lamar Dean; father, Rufus Clay Richardson; half-brother, James Charles Richardson; and brother-in-law, Rev. Willard Fitzpatrick.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Annie Lee Richardson Cook of LaFayette; step-daughter, Cheryl Dean Phillips of Cohutta; step-son, Joe Dean of Dalton; sister, Mary Lou Eavenson of Lavonia, GA; step-sister, Linda Jackson of LaFayette; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Wallis Memorial Chapel will be Tuesday, Aug. 4 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Tim Redden and Raymond Fitzpatrick officiating.
Interment will be in the East Armuchee Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, Aug. 3 from 6-9 p.m.
