Chattanooga Police Participate In Back To School Shop With A Cop

The International Brotherhood of Police Officers and the Chattanooga Police Department will host annual Back to School Shop with a Cop. During this event the IBPO will be purchasing school supplies for numerous elementary school and kids will be shopping with a police officer.   

The event will be Saturday from 9-11 a.m. at Walmart on Signal Mountain Boulevard.

The IBPO and CPD anticipate more than 50 kids will participate.  The IBPO was sent the names of different children from school counselors within all of the area schools. 

The IBPO and CPD attempt to buy all of the items on their “required items” list that is put out by each of their schools. For each kid this dollar amount will differ.
