Courtney Woodruff
A man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly robbed a family at gunpoint on the 200 block of West 37th Street.
Courtney Woodruff, 29, was one of Hamilton County’s 12 most wanted and was arrested Thursday night.
A police report states that on Aug. 23, one of the victims, James Stevenson, told officers that his sister-in-law and Woodruff were giving his wife a ride home before the incident took place.
He said that Woodruff began demanding gas money for bringing his wife home and kicked in the door to his home when he refused to open the door.
The victim said that he retreated to a back room but Woodruff followed him, continuing to demand money.
He said that the defendant then went into the front room and opened a pocketbook belonging to another woman who was there, looking for money.
He then allegedly pulled out a silver pistol and began pointing it at everyone in the home including the victim, his wife, and their 10-year-old.
He then allegedly took their cellphones, an Xbox One, and a purse before fleeing in a silver Mazda.
Woodruff is currently on a $40,000 bond.
