8th Annual Taste Of Northshore Fundraiser Set For Oct. 22

Northside Neighborhood House’s upcoming fall fundraising event is set for Thursday, Oct. 22, from 6-9 p.m. at Track 29.  “Taste of Northshore – Sample of Southside & the Not-So-Silent Auction” promises to be an evening filled with urban sophistication, culinary delights and energetic live entertainment.
 
Guests will sample delicious food from some of the best area restaurants including: 212 Market, Alice’s Catering, Aquarium Foods Catering, B’s Sweets, Biba’s Italian, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dipped Fresh, Dish T’Pass, Embargo 62, Food Works, Gipsy Gourmet, Harvest Grocery, Il Primo, Lee Towery Catering, Lupi’s, Maple Street Biscuit Company, Noodles & Company, Poblanos, Public House, Puckett’s Restaurant, Shuford’s Smokehouse, SwissAm Catering, Taqueria Jalisco, Tremont Tavern, Vine Street Market, and the Walden Club. The Food Plaza at the event is generously sponsored by Springer Mountain Farms. 
"The continued growth of this event is due to the great fun and fabulous food that our restaurants so generously provide,” said Rachel Gammon, executive director of the NNH. “We are thrilled to be able to increase our capacity to serve our neighbors during their difficult times and support their ability to provide for their families by offering quality education programs." 
Attendees are encouraged to bring their competitive spirits and be ready to bid on incredible items offered at the live interactive auction. New this year, organizers are offering on-line and mobile bidding for the silent auction items. Bidding will start on these items on Oct. 5, and is available to everyone who registers atwww.biddingforgood.com/nnh so one can participate and support the NNH even if they cannot attend the live event.
