Former Lakeview Middle School Band Director Gets 40-Year Sentence

A former Lakeview Middle School band director who was convicted last month of molesting a 14-year-old student has been sentenced to serve 40 years in prison.

Thomas Harold Blevins, III, will be on probation for 10 years afterward.

Blevins, who was taken into custody after his conviction, appeared in Catoosa County Superior Court.

He was convicted on five counts of child sex crimes.
