The Red Bank Police Department announced it will host its annual Community Safety Expo on Saturday, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., on the parking lot of the New Food City Store at 3901 Dayton Blvd.

Partners this year are Children’s Hospital at Erlanger, Food City, Brewer Media, and Kerry Smith, State Farm to again bring a variety of events and information to the Red Bank Community about public Safety.

This year’s theme is “Ready, Click, Go!” and focuses on two wheeled vehicle safety, with and emphasis on child bicycle safety and child vehicle seat safety and inspections. There will be representatives from other police agencies, fire departments, EMS, 911, THP, and many others. For a complete list of agencies, vendors and activities, visit the City of Red Bank web site at www.redbanktn.gov.

The public is invited to attend. Children are encouraged to bring their own bicycles and compete in the Bicycle Rodeo. Children’s Hospital at Erlanger will provide a limited number of helmets to children who either do not have one or have one that does not fit properly.

Door prizes will be given away by many of the participating vendors and several bicycles will be given away as grand prizes.
