JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Thursday the Jacksonville Suns announced Harold Craw as their new general manager. Craw recently completed his 14th season in professional sports as the assistant general manager of the Chattanooga Lookouts. Today also marks the completion of the franchise's sale between new owner Ken Babby and long-time owner Peter Bragan, Jr.
"Harold is one of the most accomplished and well-respected executives in Minor League Baseball and I am excited to have him lead the Suns," said Babby. "His skill set and leadership will help set the franchise's vision and direction so we can give the fans in Jacksonville a world-class ballpark experience, at an affordable price."
Craw will oversee marketing and sales, community engagement, game-day experience, and all other operational aspects of the organization.
"It is an honor to have this opportunity," said Craw. "Jacksonville has a rich baseball tradition. I look forward to continuing that tradition and growing upon the great foundation laid by the Bragan family. I'm extremely excited to become a part of the community, while giving our ballpark guests enjoyable, life-lasting memories."
