Lorena Andrews, 92, of the Dawnville Community in Georgia, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Regency Park Assisted Living.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Andrews; parents, Hubern and Anice Bryant; daughter, Maxine Murphey; a sister; and two brothers.

Ms. Andrews was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Pickens County.

She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Melva Andrews of Dalton; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Cleo Greene of Calhoun, Moline and William Worley of Resaca and Betty Jean and Ernest Owens of Calhoun; a brother, Clark Bryant of Colbert, GA; three grandchildren, Jeff and Holly Andrews, Kim and Mark Bobo and Nichole Murphey; two step-grandsons, Jeremy Smith and Eric and Summer Smith; great-grandchildren, Chase and Pryce Andrews; a step-great-granddaughter, Sadie Smith; and nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept. 5 at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Darey Kittle and Rev. Bill Walker officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cartersville, GA.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, Sept. 4 from 5-8 p.m.
