In girls Division 1, we begin where we left off with...

HARDIN COUNTY - The two-time defending champions are the team to beat again.  Two-time state champion Ashley Channell leads a team that may be even more scary and deeper than last year, with the addition of top freshman Faith Welch, and seniors improving over the summer/Jr Gold season.  Any team wanting to knock off the Tigers will need to be talented and deep which brings us to...

WHITE HOUSE - With a balanced team that runs 8-9 deep, the Blue Devils don't have any weaknesses in their lineup which made it one step closer to the TSSAA finals last year. Seniors Madison Beckner and Hannah Dowell lead a squad that rarely puts up a low score. Other contenders will have to put up some high numbers to beat White House which brings us to...

SIEGEL - National Jr Gold Champion Danielle Jedlicki and talented freshman Emily Whitaker join two seniors both with experience on the national level, Madeline Woods and Sydney Jahns.  With a top three that can drop huge scores on opponents, the only thing missing for the Stars is depth, which won't be as much of a problem this year with...

RHEA COUNTY - After a tough injury-filled season last year, the Eagles will be tough top to bottom with returning seniors Jessica Hawk and Codie Samuelson and adding outstanding freshman Baylee Shipley.  Close on their heels will be...

COLUMBIA CENTRAL - The core of the young team that made it to the state finals two years ago, led by juniors Ashlynn Moyer and Zoe Courtemanche.  After losing a tough 14-13 match at states a year ago, the Lions are looking to advance further and hold off other contenders...

BARTLETT - State qualifiers adding a number of talented sophomores and freshmen

CHUCKEY DOAK - Core four from two straight state qualifying teams returns

TULLAHOMA - Young and deep team looking to improveWALKER VALLEY - State qualifier adding highly ranked freshman Natily Haro

DOBYNS BENNETT - Looking to return to state tournament again
