The No. 8/9 Chattanooga Mocs are back on the road this weekend with a non-conference matchup at Presbyterian College. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. (E.D.T.) at Bailey Memorial Stadium in Clinton, S.C.
UTC is 2-1 on the year, following a 31-21 win in its Southern Conference opener at Samford last weekend. The Blue Hose are 1-2 overall, coming off a 23-13 win over Campbell. Presbyterian opened with a pair of FBS losses, 26-7 at Miami (Ohio) and 34-10 at Charlotte.
Chattanooga moved up to No.
8 in this week's STATS.com FCS Top 25. That equals the highest ranking in school history and puts UTC back where it started the season. Chattanooga moved up from No. 12 to No. 9 in the FCS Coaches Poll.
Presbyterian opened with a tough schedule, but scored a nice win over the Camels in its home opener. PC is 3-0 in home night games since lights were installed at Bailey Memorial Stadium prior to the 2014 season. One of those wins was a 10-7 victory against then-No. 12 Furman last year.
