James Gann, 56, In Critical Condition After Stabbing Monday Night On Rossville Boulevard

James Gann, 56, is in critical condition after being stabbed multiple times Monday night. 

Officers with Chattanooga Police Department responded to the stabbing at 4510 Rossville Blvd. Upon arrival, officers located Mr. Gann with multiple stab wounds. Hamilton County EMS responded and transported the him to a local hospital. 

Several witnesses observed the victim and suspect talking to one another near some gas pumps. Witnesses said the younger white male began stabbing the victim multiple times and fled on foot. 

The victim was not be able to speak with investigators after surgery. There is no suspect information available at this time.

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423 698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
