McAngus Wins Women's Senior Amateur Title

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. -- Terri McAngus of Mt. Juliet erased a seven-shot deficit to claim the 37thTennessee Women’s Senior Amateur Championship today at the Sevierville Golf Club.

McAngus shot a final round two under par 70 for a three day total of 226 on the River Course to win her first Tennessee state championship. 

Thirty-six hole leader Maggie Scott of Charleston finished second with a two day total of 228.

Lynda Wimberly of Brentwood finished third with a three day total of 230.
