Pauline Pope
Pauline Pope, 79, died on September 2, 2015 in a local hospital.
She received her cosmetology license in Florida. She retired from Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and attended until her health failed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Charles and Johnnie Ruth Lovelace; and grandson, Jerome Timmons, Jr.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 54 years, David D. Pope; daughters, Pam Pope, Lisa (Earl) Rollins; sons, Jerome Timmons, David, Kelvin (Tonetta) Pope; brother, Charles (Lisa) Lovelace; sister, Michelle (Robert) Brown, aunts, Beulah Stokes, Ann Martin; a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon on Friday, Sept. 11, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
