Eric Marsh
Eric Lee Marsh, 43, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, August 28, 2015 in a local hospital.
He was a 1990 graduate of Howard High School and worked for Nutrition Services at Memorial Hospital for 10 years. He was a member of Church of The First Born and worked with the religious organization “Smoking for Jesus” which served meals to those in need.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Mary Alice Marsh.
Survivors include his sons, Quinton Bankston and Thomas Marsh; daughters, Shakera Bankston and DeAira Marsh, all of Chattanooga; brothers, Kelvin (Donna Mahon-) Marsh of Lafayette, GA, Samuel Marsh of Chattanooga, and Anthony Geter of Nashville; sister, Celina Brown of Nashville; several nieces; nephews; favorite cousins, Cotillyah Marsh, Marcus Williams, Mahogany Williams, many other cousins; devoted and cherished friends, DeAndra Garth Womble, Katherine Garth, and many other friends.
He will lie in state on Saturday, Sept. 5, at 10 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at noon in the chapel with Pastor Alfred Johnson officiating and Celina Brown as the eulogist. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
