Hixson’s newest local organic grocery store, Harvest Grocery will host a fundraiser, Cans and Cadences, benefiting Chattanooga Symphony & Opera and the Chattanooga Area Food Bank on Thursday, Oct. 15 from 5:30-8 p.m.
“We are so excited to host this event to help benefit these two great local organizations who add so much to this community we love,” said Tim McClure, President CEO of Harvest Grocery. For just $30 per person you can help out Chattanooga Symphony & Opera and the Chattanooga Area Food Bank while experiencing all Harvest Grocery has to offer.
“We’re thrilled to be working with Harvest for Cans and Cadences and gaining them as a local corporate citizen,” said CSO Executive Director, Molly Sasse. In addition to hearing the musical stylings of the CSO quintet, you might partake of Harvest Grocery’s beer and cheese-pairing samples, enjoy a makeover with all natural cosmetics, get a quick DIY flower arrangement tutorial from Bud Floral + Home, or ‘Shop with a Doc’ with Dr.
Chip Crump.
The Chattanooga Area Food Bank (CAFB) leads a network of partners in eliminating hunger and promoting better nutrition in our region. “One in six people in our area face hunger. We’re grateful for the generous support of the community and Harvest Grocery as we work to close the gap between the number of people in need and the number of people served each year,” said CAFB President Maeghan Jones.
