Morning Pointe Brings Kim Campbell, Wife Of Country Music Singer Glen Campbell, To Chattanooga To Share Their Personal Alzheimer’s Journey

  • Tuesday, September 8, 2015

Morning Pointe Senior Living is bringing Kim Campbell, wife of country music singer Glen Campbell, to Chattanooga for a special event to share their personal journey of life on the road with Alzheimer’s. The public is invited to hear firsthand their message of hope as they help raise awareness of those who suffer with Alzheimer’s and their supportive caregivers.

With Kim at his side, Glen’s whirlwind goodbye tour of 151 cities was documented on film and broadcast on CNN earlier this summer.  The documentary is now available on the DVD titled You’re Not Alone.

“For almost 20 years, Morning Pointe has provided care to seniors and seen an ever-increasing need to offer specialized daily care to those who are affected by Alzheimer’s and other memory care issues,” said Greg A. Vital, president and CEO of Morning Pointe. “It is a huge honor to have Kim Campbell share this personal journey with our Morning Pointe families and the community.”

Morning Pointe serves the Tennessee Valley with Alzheimer’s care at its locations in Chattanooga, Collegedale and Hixson. Morning Pointe has 25 communities in five southeastern states and is based in Chattanooga.

You’re Not Alone will be on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 7815 Shallowford Road, Chattanooga. Attendance is free, but please RSVP to reserve seats at 423 238-5330, or email info@morningpointe.com.
