Authorities Searching For Armed Robbery Suspects After Holdups 4 Hours Apart At Summerville, Flintstone

  • Tuesday, September 8, 2015

The Walker County Sheriff’s Office and Summerville Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying two male suspects who committed armed robbery at the Summerville Pure Convenience Store, Highway 114, on Saturday around 10 p.m., and then again about four hours later on Sunday morning at the Kangaroo convenience store at 2777 Chattanooga Valley Road, Flintstone, Ga.

In both armed robberies, two suspects entered the convenience stores, pointed a semi automatic handgun at the clerks and demanded money, according to Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson.

Both suspects were covered from head to feet so their race is unknown. The larger of the two suspects had a unique stance and gait.

No vehicle was seen or heard in either robbery. The amount of money taken from the stores is not being disclosed at this time.

Contact Detective Mike Hinch, Walker County Sheriff’s Office, at 706 638-1909, Ext. 1253, or Stan Mosley, Summerville Police Department at 706 859-0912 with information.
