Several Road Closures Scheduled For This Weekend

Thursday, Sept. 10 - Saturday, Sept. 12:

The Tennessee Tow Show will be here.  From 8:00 am on Thursday until 10:00 pm on Saturday, Fort Street will be closed from 13thStreet to 14th Street and 13th Street from Chestnut Street to Fort Street will be closed.  The right lane on Carter Street from 13th to 12thwill be closed as well.  For more information on this event, please visit http://tennesseetowshow.com/.

 

Saturday, Sept.

12:

There will be a UTC home football game at Finley Stadium. From 6 a.m. through midnight, Reggie White Boulevard from the entrance to the skate park to 19th Street and the right lane on Riverfront Parkway from Chestnut Street to Reggie White Blvd. will be closed.

 

Sunday, Sept. 13:

Reggie White Boulevard will be closed from the entrance to the skate park to 19th Street for the Chattanooga Market.  Closure will be from 6 a.m.-8 p.m.  

 

Susan G. Komen 5K race will take place.  The route and traffic impact report are attached.  Heavy traffic is expected in the area; please watch for runners and posted detours. 

 

The Market Street Bridge will have its quarterly inspection.  Scheduled closure will be from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
