Sheriff Jim Hammond announced that members of the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division (CID) have concluded a three-month investigation involving the life-threatening injuries of a one-year-old child with the arrest of 19-year-old Lyndsey Cheyenne Brock on Monday.
The incident in question took place at 9322 Smith Cemetery Road in an unincorporated area of Hamilton County on Sept. 16, 2015.
The case was presented to the Hamilton County Grand Jury and an indictment was issued against Ms.
Brock for aggravated child abuse.
Members of the Criminal Investigation Division located and arrested Ms. Brock Monday afternoon, and she was booked into the Hamilton County Jail where she is currently being held on a $250,000 bond.
