Special agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have charged two men in an ongoing homicide investigation in McMinnville.

At the request of 31st District Attorney General Lisa Zavogiannis, TBI agents joined the investigation into the death of Osbaldo Luna, shortly after local authorities found the body of the 43-year-old with an apparent gunshot wound outside of his Beersheba Highway residence. During the course of the investigation, Agents, working alongside the McMinnville Police Department and the Warren County Sheriff’s Department, developed information which led to Tyler Jones and Nicholas McGee as at least two of the individuals responsible for Mr. Luna’s death. The investigation continues with a possibility of additional subjects and charges.

On Tuesday morning, authorities arrested Jones, 19, of Manchester, and McGee, 20, of Tullahoma, charging each with one count of criminal homicide and subsequently booked both men into the Warren County Jail on $1,000,000 bond each.
