Billy McCloud
Billy McCloud, 78, of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, January 19, 2016.
He was a native of Flat Rock, Al., had lived most of his life in Anaheim, Ca., and the past 10 years in Chattanooga. While living in Anaheim, Billy owned and operated McCloud Machining and he was a United States Army veteran working as a plane mechanic. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rossville, Ga. His passions in life were his children, grandchildren, and golfing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen McCloud; and brothers, J.B. McCloud, Richard McCloud, Jim McCloud, and David McCloud.
Survivors include his children, Tracey McCloud of Georgetown, Oh., Debbie McElroy of Sheridan, Iowa, and Dennis (Judy) Cochnauer, Sawyer, Ok.; two brothers, Dr. Owen McCloud of Morristown, Tn., and Marshall McCloud of Flintstone, Ga; sister, Mary Ellen Carlton of Chattanooga, Tn.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 22, at 11 a.m. CST at New Hope Baptist Church at 3268 Co. Rd. 358 Pisgah, Al. 35765 with Dr. Owen McCloud and Marshall McCloud officiating. Mr. McCloud will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, Jan. 21, from 4-8 p.m. EST at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
