Chambliss Center for Children, in collaboration with Events with Taste, will host a Mardi Gras Gala on Friday, Feb. 5, from 7-11 p.m. at Granfalloon, located at 400 East Main St.

The evening will feature Cajun-inspired fare, cocktails, a Dixieland Jazz Quartet, late-evening DJ and dance party, and lots of New Orleans-style fun. The event also features a crowning of the Mardi Gras King and Queen, who will lead guests in a parade throughout the venue.

“This is our only nighttime event of the year, and it’s a blast.” says Katie Harbison, VP of Development and Administration for Chambliss Center for Children.
“It’s also a great opportunity to learn more about the work Chambliss Center for Children is doing in this community.”

Tickets for the Mardi Gras Gala are $60 for individuals or $100 per couple through Feb 1st. After that, the cost will increase to $70 for individuals and $120 per couple. Companies or groups of friends have the option of purchasing tables. The “Krewe” level is $500 and includes a reserved table for 8, special beads and party favors. The “Super Krewe” level is $1,000 and includes the same benefits as the “Krewe” level plus additional party favors, signage at the event and recognition in all publicity.
