Larunce Marvin “Jabo” Wilson, 79, of Apison, Tennessee, died on Friday, September 30, 2016.

He was born on January 10, 1937 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was retired from Chattanooga City Schools as a painter after 33 years of service.  He was a member of Community Baptist Church.

He longed to be reunited with his loving wife Joann, they are happy together again in heaven.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joann Wilson; son, Layton Wilson; parents, Marsh and Lottie Bell Wilson.

He is survived by his children, Kathy (Johnny) Ware, Larry (Deana) Wilson, Lawrence Wilson, Luke (Sherry) Wilson and Chris (Jimmy) Wilson; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; his little dog “Tiny”.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 3, 2016 in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Fletcher Farris officiating.  Burial will follow at Plowman Cemetery.
