Friday, Oct. 14 -

University of Alabama Band Pep Rally: Join the Million Dollar Band at Finley Stadium on Friday afternoon, as a portion of Reggie White Boulevard between W. Main Street and W. 19th Street will be closed from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. as Bama's Million Dollar Band, cheerleaders, and Big AL will be stopping by on their way to Knoxville. It's free and there will be plenty of parking. Concessions will be open for those who would like to have lunch. Visit the event page on Facebook for more information. 

RiverRocks Best Town (For)Ever: Cherry Street will be closed between E. 7th Street & E. 8th Street from 2-11 p.m. In addition, Chattanooga Police Department will be directing traffic through two, 20-minute detours at 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. for a slackline demonstration on the corner of 7th & Cherry. Saturday, Oct. 15 -

Oktoberfest 5K: As part of the Oktoberfest celebration at the Chattanooga Market, this 5K will show road closures on Reggie White Boulevard, W. 19th Street, one westbound lane of W. 20th Street and lane closures along Riverfront Parkway from 6:30-10 a.m. This festive 5k will begin at Chattanooga Oktoberfest/First Tennessee Pavilion. Race participants will enjoy the festive spirit of the after-party at Chattanooga Oktoberfest with live oompah music, Oktoberfest inspired foods and over 99 seasonal and local beers. Sunday, Oct. 16 -

Seven Bridges Marathon: Seven Bridges Marathon returns to Chattanooga, and will include full and partial closures throughout downtown, highway ramp closures and various spots with runners on the road from 4 a.m.-3 p.m. The marathon will take runners across the Tennessee river six times, running by the Tennessee Aquarium, AT&T Field, Creative Discovery Museum, crossing the Chickamauga Dam and along the Riverwalk, where runners will then run through the Bluff View Art District, Hunter Museum and Historic Walnut Street Bridge to finish in front of the Chattanooga Theatre Centre in Coolidge Park.  Chattanooga Market: Reggie White Boulevard will be closed from the entrance to the skate park to 19th Street on Sunday, October 16th from 6 a.m.-8 p.m.The largest producer-only public market in the region.
