Chelsea Finnigan Charged With Vehicular Homicide, DUI, Texting While Driving In Fatal Wreck On Bonny Oaks Drive

Chelsea A. Finnigan is facing vehicular homicide charges as well as texting while driving in a head-on wreck on Bonny Oaks Drive that claimed the life of hair dresser Elizabeth Bodaly, 39.

Ms. Finnigan, 24, of 7636 Bonnie Dr., is also charged with DUI, failing to maintain lane, driving on a revoked driver's license and not having insurance.

The wreck happened shortly before 1 p.m. on Feb. 25 when two small sedans collided at Jersey Pike and Bonny Oaks Drive.

Ms. Finnigan was critically injured.

Police said a vehicle driven by Ms. Finnigan was traveling east on Bonny Oaks Drive when it crossed the double yellow line into the westbound lanes.

Ms. Bodaly died at the scene.

Ms. Finnigan was transported to a local hospital.
