Now, Chattanooga-area volleyball teams that will participate in next week’s state tournament know who they’ll play in first-round matches.
In Class 1A, Sale Creek (39-5) drew Loretto and that match is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. CT at Siegel High School.
In Class 2A, Red Bank (24-15) tangles with Dyersburg and Signal Mountain (43-8) takes on Sullivan South. Those matches start at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., respectively, at Blackman High School.
In Class 3A, Cleveland (36-13) plays Siegel at 9:30 a.m. at Middle Tennessee State University’s Murphy Center.
The Division II-2A bracket has not been completed due to some matches yet to be played. Powerful Baylor (43-2) is in this bracket.
All first-round games are to be played on Wednesday.
