3 People Shot In Chattanooga In Separate Incidents On Sunday, Including Teen Girl Who Is In Critical Condition

Three people were shot in separate incidents in Chattanooga on Sunday, including a teenage girl who is in critical condition.

At 10:42 p.m., officers with the Chattanooga Police Department responded to the 4100 block of Kirkland Avenue concerning reports of a person shot.

Officers located a juvenile female suffering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder. She was transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS.

At this time, no credible suspect information has been provided to investigators.

Anthony Sherard, 26, was shot earlier Sunday evening on West 38th Street.

Officers with the Chattanooga Police Department responded at 7:46 p.m. to the 200 block of West 38th Street regarding a person shot.

Chattanooga Police responded to the location the shooting was reported to have occurred in an attempt to locate a victim and crime scene. Officers located Sherard, suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the arm. He was transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS. 

Investigators are following leads about a possible suspect vehicle. The Chattanooga Police Department's Violent Crimes Bureau continues to follow all leads.

Darius Hurd, 22, was shot on Moss Drive early Sunday afternoon.

Officers with the Chattanooga Police Department responded at 12:33 p.m. to the 1100 block of Moss Drive for a person shot call.

Officers located Hurd suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg. He was transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS. 

Investigators are following leads about a possible suspect vehicle (white crossover-type SUV). The Chattanooga Police Department's Violent Crimes Bureau continues to follow all leads.
