Rashad Norwood Gets 40 Months In Federal Prison For Selling Cocaine

Rashad Norwood was sentenced Monday to serve 40 months in federal prison for selling cocaine.

He appeared before Judge Sandy Mattice.

Norwood was arrested on March 30, 2015, after a controlled drug buy at the Royal Arms Apartments on McBrien Avenue.

Agents observed a white SUV with a South Carolina license plate at Norwood's residence at 4506 Drummond Dr. Norwood went in the SUV to the meeting place at the apartments.

Agents watched the exchange of cocaine for $1,700 in funds provided by the agents at the rear of the apartments.
