Trump Then And Now - And Response (2)

  • Monday, October 17, 2016

Many of us here in the South, including the press, are still around to recount the Donald Trump we were introduced to as he chased Marla Maples, often accompanied by her mother, from border to border reveling in the joy of being handsome, young, educated, and rich with an engaging personality.  This observer is not surprised about all the women coming out after all this time to register their experiences that led to failure to grab the catch of the times.  They lost.

What Donald Trump has lost is all but the education and the money.  Money will not buy him the presidency.  I believe somewhere within himself he has a very engaging aura that together with his superior education and his money have propelled him to his status as a highly successful international businessman, planner, builder, model family man and borderline visionary.  It is this combination of attributes that I believe he alone at this particular time in our history, in concert with the Congress, could lead a successful movement to return our country back to our roots as a republic under our established Constitutional government, recognition of all legitimate Americans as citizens and restore all their rights as recognized in our framers' documents.

We must give him that opportunity.  Otherwise we have no chance of retaining only that part of what we now have into the future under the alternative.  Please do your homework.  Throw out the trash but keep the byproducts from the recyclables.  They can save our lives and our country.

God bless America and her people.

Well, that's about the size of it Charlotte.  Go Trump.  Oh, and did I mention that all my deplorable friends and family are on the train too.  You know, the policemen, the teachers, the federal employees, the realtors, the state employees, the firemen, the city employees, the millennials, the boomers, the beauticians, the nurses, the physical therapists, the ultrasound specialists, the military, the small business owners, the large business owners, the single, the married, the divorced, the hunters, the golfers, the fishermen, the boaters, the gardeners, the chefs, the dentists, the doctors, the lawyers, the conservatives, the liberals, the independents, the Sunday School teachers, the preachers, the wine tasters, and the teetotalers.

To the readers of Charlotte's article and this response:  There is great hope in this movement.

Go vote Trump, go vote Supreme Court Justices, go vote law and order, go vote jobs, go vote lower taxes, go vote America first, go vote for insurance overhaul, go vote to secure our borders, go vote religious liberties, go vote to give your children/grandchildren a better tomorrow, go vote to get America out of debt, go vote for your Constitution, go vote for your 2nd Amendment, go vote for better schools including honoring the teachers (especially with decent salaries), go vote against the liberal/untruthful/biased, one-sided media, go vote change, please, go vote to help make America great again.

Voting Trump early and with a passion,
Bren Turner

I have to agree with both Charlotte and Bren, I think the previously mentioned issues have been heading in the wrong direction for a good number of years. We've seen recently how the "establishment" on both sides has worked for their constituents. They would rather keep their "earned assets" coming in, than represent the will of the people that sent them there with their votes.

I'm ready to shake things up in Washington, and try for a better result. I couldn't consider continuing with more of the same. The past eight years has shown me one administration, no matter how hard they tried, couldn't end the America most of us treasure, all on their own.
